About The Position

The Courtyard Cafe in Brecksville is looking for servers. This is a very busy restaurant, and high volume experience is helpful. The ideal candidate must be willing to be a team player. Lunch and dinner shifts are available. As a server, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing safe, friendly and attentive service that makes our guests feel welcome and like they are part of our family. Our servers thrive on making loyal guests by taking them on a tour of our menu through knowledge of food, wine, and our fresh ingredients. We are committed to the highest safety and sanitation practices, including ensuring team member wellness and maintaining clean restaurants.

Responsibilities

Interact with guests to ensure exemplary service in an efficient manner
Take orders, serve food and drinks, answer inquiries about the menu and comply with the wishes of the guest, as well as suggestively sell food and drinks.
Work closely with Manager and Hostess to ensure guests receive excellent service.
Serve guests and create a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and fellow employees.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objective of the position.
Keep wait station clean, and uphold and maintain high-quality customer service and hospitality at all times.
Assist in maintenance tasks like trash removal and cleaning when needed.
