About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Server. In this role, you will provide a friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant or a background in the service industry.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
