About The Position
Come join our team at Vitalia N Royalton located at 8239 York Road, North Royalton, OH 44133! We are looking for someone (like you) to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, a Titan of Tidiness, and an “Appetite Anthropologist.” Being a great host means greeting residents and making them feel welcome, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. As a Peppy Prepper, you understand that a successful meal service can only happen if you’re prepared, whether prepping a table for service, salads for the next meal, or rolling silverware. Being a Titan of Tidiness involves bussing tables and sweeping floors, playing a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of. As an “Appetite Anthropologist,” you will communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
- Criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome

- Bus tables and sweep floors
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals
