About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Server to work at Immanuel Village, located at 6803 North 68th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Immanuel Village has 99 independent living and 36 assisted living apartment homes. The schedule will be 4:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays and 10:30am-2:00pm on Sundays. Some holidays will be required. This position will pay up to $16.15/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required or willing to obtain if hired (company pays for training).
- Minimum age of 14 years old required.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous serving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take orders and serve food to residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Set-up the dining room and designated areas in the kitchen in anticipation of meals.
- Clear tables.
- Meet diners’ needs.
- Handle food safely.
- Deliver food to apartments.
- Clean kitchen and dining areas.
