About The Position
Come join our award-winning team as a Server at the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant. The position is part-time working during breakfast hours, 5:30am-11:30am. The pay is hourly plus tips. Come join our team!
Requirements
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Current food handlers permit
Nice To Haves
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
- Some familiarity with basic cooking skills
- Previous serving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu changes, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
- Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, am-replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.:30am
- Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) for service to customer’s table.
- Open and pour wine at the tableside.
- Accept payments, issues receipts, and returns change.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Assist with special events as needed.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
