About The Position

The AM Server is responsible for selling and serving food and drinks in a professional manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle transactions accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant. The server must ensure guest satisfaction by exceeding expectations and adhering to all safety and legal guidelines regarding alcohol service.

Requirements

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
Must be of legal age according to State regulations to serve alcohol.
State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.

Responsibilities

Sell alcohol and food items.
Use a computer to ring orders on a check.
Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
Accept different types of payment and make change.
Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
Clear and reset tables.
Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages and politely refuse service if they are not.
Observe guests' behavior, count drinks served, and offer a taxi if a guest appears unable to drive safely, involving a manager if necessary.
Treat all guests in a manner that ensures their complete satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations.
Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
Perform other duties as directed.
