About The Position

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently seeking an exceptional Server for the Urban42 Restaurant inside the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND. This is a part-time position with 16-24 hours per week, offering AM (6am-1pm) and PM (4pm-12am) shifts. The pay is $10/hr + Tips. As a Server, you will provide prompt and courteous food service to restaurant customers. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience Serving or as a Barista.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service to both guests and team members.
  • A genuine interest in hospitality; a desire to make others feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Greeting every guest with a smile and positive attitude.
  • Prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow all health codes.
  • Ensure that all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people.
  • Take guests' food and drink orders and ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
  • Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
  • Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis.
  • Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen and restaurant area.
  • Follow all applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Performing all duties with a positive attitude focused on hospitality.
  • Carry out other duties as requested, including special requests from guests.
