About The Position

The Server at the 20th Hole Restaurant is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server in a casual or upscale dining setting preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service and possess required certifications
  • Must possess or be able to obtain certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe).
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable lunch shifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and enter them into the POS system
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests quickly and courteously
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, as well as responsible alcohol service policies
  • Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions
  • Assist with side work and closing duties as assigned
