About The Position

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee, is hiring a Server. The restaurant is part of A. Marshall Hospitality, a growing group that includes other Puckett's locations, Scout's Pub, and Deacon's New South. The Server provides friendly, responsive service and creates an exceptional dining experience that encourages guests to return. Hours vary, and weekend availability is needed. Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have reliable transportation to and from work.
Pass the federally mandated E-Verify process.
Obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit within 60 days of hire.
Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.
Have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
Be able to safely lift and frequently maneuver trays of food and beverages weighing up to 20–30 pounds.
Be self-disciplined, take initiative, demonstrate leadership skills, and be outgoing.
Maintain a pleasant, polite manner and neat, clean appearance.
Be able to multitask and solve problems while coordinating a wide range of activities.
Conduct oneself positively and professionally under all circumstances, including in a fast-paced environment.

Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred.
