About The Position

Lemaire, the acclaimed restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel, is seeking a polished, professional, and guest-focused individual to join our dining team as a Part-Time Server. This part-time role is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our guests and ensuring that the highest level of service is consistently provided. Working closely with service attendants and teammates, the Server will deliver an exceptional dining experience while contributing to the collaborative and professional culture that defines Lemaire. We are hiring a breakfast server and lunch server. The breakfast shift starts at 6:15 am, and the lunch shift starts at 10 am.

Requirements

• Previous serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant required.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and liquor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and accountable
• Demonstrates initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic about hospitality, committed to teamwork, and dedicated to exceeding guest expectations.
• Minimum 1–2 years of serving experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant required.
• Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge with a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional in appearance and behavior; dependable and punctual.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dining service in accordance with Lemaire and The Jefferson Hotel’s standards.
• Work closely with service attendants and dining room staff to deliver seamless service.
• Offer support to colleagues across the restaurant, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure each dining experience is memorable.
• Uphold all service standards, policies, and procedures to maintain the reputation of a luxury dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their meal.
• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders with efficiency and grace.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, wine list, and craft cocktails.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained, coordinating smooth turnover between seatings.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Support the service team and leadership in maintaining an elevated dining atmosphere.
• Demonstrate teamwork by assisting colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
