Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work well with or without direct supervision.
Must be neat and well-groomed at all times.
Must be flexible, self-motivated, positive, and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management.
Must maintain current food handler's certification.
English skills necessary to communicate with guests.

Nice To Haves

Prior serving experience desired.
Computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide and facilitate excellent food and beverage service to guests in a welcoming, professional, and expedient manner.
Arrive at scheduled start time and be ready for work.
Ensure uniform is neat and pressed and grooming standards are followed.
Collect and set up necessary equipment, including all side-work.
Maintain complete knowledge of all menus and wine lists.
Assist guests with menu selections, accurately record orders, paying special attention to special requests, and enter orders into the POS system.
Take food and beverage orders in a complete and timely fashion.
Explain all special orders and requests to the kitchen culinary team.
Use proper serving techniques at all times.
Report any guest dissatisfaction, mishandled orders, and opportunities to management in a timely manner.
Maintain assigned par levels of selected goods.
Participate in wine sales programs.
Recognize guests by name and use their name at least three times within an interaction, recording preferences for future use.
Thank guests for dining.
Assist the Juice Bar attendant when available.
Keep work station clean at all times, following proper food safety standards.
Read all memos.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers.
Operate the POS system proficiently.
Report to the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor before ending the work shift.
Act as an ambassador of Enchantment and Mii amo by speaking positively of the property at all times.
Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting coworkers and other departments as necessary to exceed guest expectations.
Demonstrate knowledge of resort layout, amenities, hours of operations, special attractions, and occasions.
Work efficiently and as a team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
