About The Position

The Food and Beverage Department is seeking a Server to greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure accuracy with requests and substitutions. The Server will be knowledgeable about menu items, including ingredients and common dietary restrictions. Responsibilities include pre-busing and post-busing tables, maintaining a clean dining area, accurately and timely receiving payments, and performing necessary opening/closing and side work duties. The role also involves preparing food items such as appetizers, sides, and desserts, assisting other servers, and ensuring equipment is in operational order and supplies are stocked. Reporting equipment needing repair and supplies to be ordered is also part of the job. The Server will monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of their assigned station and service areas, adhering to 4 Keys service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety standards. They will follow safety and security procedures, work cohesively with co-workers and other departments, and adhere to all appropriate policies and procedures while striving to improve operations. Attendance and reliability standards must be met, along with any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to push, pull bend, squat and lift on a regular basis.
  • Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Knowledgeable and ensure compliance of all state food safety guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hotels, banquets, or events.
  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.

Responsibilities
