About The Position
Ted's Bulletin is seeking an experienced Server for its new Alexandria/Carlyle Crossing location. Known for its tarts, milkshakes, and all-day breakfast, Ted's Bulletin operates a scratch kitchen with fresh ingredients, offering craveable American cuisine. The restaurant has plans for culinary and brand development. The Server role requires at least one year of experience in a high-volume, full-service environment, with a focus on guest rapport, sales driving, and exceptional hospitality. Requirements
- At least 6 months' experience as a server in a high-volume, upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
- Certification in (or ability to be certified in) responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law).
- High energy and stamina.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
