Server 7am-3pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Vitalia Montrose. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing for service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. Arrow Senior Living is committed to diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Buss tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding dietary habits, appetite changes, and resident absences from meals.
