About The Position
We are seeking a professional and experienced restaurant server to join our team at WOB Bar & Kitchen. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a server at WOB (World of Beer), you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their dining and beer experience is enjoyable and memorable. The role involves providing a positive and fun experience, engaging with customers, and assisting them in exploring the quality craft food and beverage offerings.
Requirements
- Outgoing, friendly & high energy personality and demeanor.
- Friendly & accurate communication skills in handling customers in person and on the phone.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic math skills for processing payments.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to be a contributing member of the team in sales and job tasks.
- Any food or alcohol awareness certification as required within 30 days of hire.
- Warm and welcoming Smile!
- Ability to stand on your feet and navigate the WOB for the entirety of the shift.
- Ability to carry full food and drink trays.
- Ability to reach, bend, and lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to retain menu product knowledge and share that with customers.
- Ability to clearly communicate with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

- Engage as the salesperson for our quality craft food and beverage offerings.
- Assist the customer in exploring our World of Beer.
- Greet customers and escort them to their tables as needed.
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items.
- Suggest menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Take food and drink orders from customers.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure that they are prepared quickly and accurately.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
