About The Position

Benchmark at Alexandria is seeking an On-Call Server to join its dining team. The role involves fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The position serves meals and beverages, supports residents with meal selection or specific needs, and helps prepare the dining room and food service supplies.

Requirements

• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents with meal selection or other specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
