About The Position

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server/Waitstaff member for The Country House in Yorktown Heights, New York. Servers deliver meals to residents and guests promptly and according to schedule, while providing first-class customer service. The role is part of the dietary team and supports a smooth, efficient, and safe kitchen operation. Applicants should have a desire to work with seniors and approach residents and colleagues with compassion, courtesy, and professionalism. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

Able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to perform the job.
Obtain a Food Handlers Permit if required by state regulations.
Have compassion for and a desire to work with seniors.
Be honest, fair, dependable, and respectful of confidentiality and others’ rights and privacy.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
