About The Position

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Dining Room Server to deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner and according to schedule. The role focuses on providing healthy meals and first-class customer service. Servers work as part of the dietary team to help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Applicants may be starting a culinary career or may already have serving experience.

Requirements

Able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Obtain a Food Handlers Permit if required by state regulations.
Have compassion for and a desire to work with seniors.
Be honest, fair, and dependable, and respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner and on schedule.
Provide customer service to residents.
Work as part of the dietary team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe kitchen operation.
Perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner.
