About The Position
TOPPER’S at The Wauwinet is currently seeking a Front Server to work dinner shifts for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals passionate about fine dining and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Front Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and ensuring each guest enjoys attentive and efficient service in accordance with hotel standards. TOPPER’S offers both à la carte and prix fixe menus, showcasing seasonally inspired cuisine with a strong emphasis on locally sourced produce and fresh seafood.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar fine dining environment is required
Responsibilities
- Taking food and beverage orders
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensuring each guest enjoys attentive and efficient service in accordance with hotel standards
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering guest questions
- Collaborating closely with kitchen, bar, and service staff
- Handling guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Issuing bills and processing payments accurately
- Maintaining familiarity with table and station assignments, room capacity, and service standards
- Staying informed on menu items, nightly specials, and “86” items
