About The Position

Lapper Kitchen + Sports Bar is a lively restaurant environment where the game is always on, the drinks are cold, and the food is meant to be enjoyed with friends. We are looking for a Part-Time Server who knows how to keep guests happy, tables moving, and the good times going. This role is part-time, flexible, fast-paced, and never boring. You'll be part of Town and Country Resort, a San Diego hospitality icon.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or hospitality serving experience preferred
A genuine desire to take care of people
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
Comfortable working evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to handle multiple tables and priorities at once
A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
Must meet applicable age requirements for alcohol service

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service from hello to check
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
Make menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
Check in with guests throughout their experience and anticipate their needs
Maintain clean, organized and properly set tables
Process payments accurately and efficiently
Work closely with the kitchen, bar and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly
Follow all food safety, alcohol service and resort standards
Help create an energetic environment where guests want to come back
