About The Position

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. This is a Full-Time, Exempt position located in Huntsville, AL. No travel is expected. A Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required. U.S. Citizenship is required for work authorization.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field, or four (4) years’ experience supporting and/or managing Microsoft server products.
Experience providing tier 2 or higher support for server technologies such as Active Directory, SAN/NAS, VMware, SQL, or IIS.
Must meet baseline certification requirements in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT-II category or higher.
Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Administration of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure including Microsoft Servers, ESX VMware, clustering, Storage Area Network (SAN), end-user devices, and Cloud technologies.
Ensuring information systems’ security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability; Information Assurance (IA) requirements compliance; application policies and procedures adherence.
Developing and designing solutions to meet customer requirements. Implementing, planning, and creating documentation.
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers and systems to ensure a stable and reliable server infrastructure in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
Support of mission-critical systems and infrastructure used for day-to-day operations.
Responding to end-user requests for troubleshooting assistance, coordinating across multiple IT sections and disciplines to provide analysis and support of tier 2 and tier 3 IT incidents.
Applying technical expertise to manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, and devices.
