About The Position

The Server Lead is responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food service, inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards. This role involves observing and evaluating workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures for servers. The Server Lead will also monitor server sections for flow and distribution of workload, catering functions for special set-ups and service issues, and salad bar and buffets for professional and appealing appearance. Additionally, this position involves completing opening and closing server duty rosters, section assignments, server schedules, and daily record of events in FOH Log and FOH Attendance in Outlook. The Server Lead will prepare information for supervisors as requested on dining room operation and performance, assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees, and oversee the set-up of all stations. Recommendations for improving work procedures and worker performance may be requested. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One to two years related experience
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
