About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for guests in a banquet setting. The server will greet guests, manage the dining experience, deliver food and beverages, fulfill guest requests, upsell menu items, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant. The position also involves accurately handling payments, performing opening and closing duties, and potentially assisting with food preparation and cashier duties in other casino restaurants. A thorough understanding of the menu, promotions, and property information is essential, as is knowledge of Indiana Gaming and ATC regulations. The server must adhere to Company Service Standards and be available to work varied hours, including holidays and weekends.

Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming and ATC (state) regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, maintains proper dining experience, delivers items, fulfills guest’s needs, up sells items, offers drinks and desserts, removes courses, refills drinks and replenishes silverware.
Takes orders and sends them to kitchen staff through the POS system.
Has a working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events and other property information.
Helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant by completing the mandatory side work designated by manager on duty.
Accurately collects money for orders served and follows point-of-sale procedures accurately and gives receipt to patron.
Performs opening/closing duties as designated by the manager on duty.
May assist with casino restaurant with food prep, food handling, stocking, and cashier duties as needed.
Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
Other duties may be assigned at any time.
