About The Position

The Server - Food Banquets position is responsible for ensuring a proper dining experience for guests, including greeting them, delivering items, fulfilling needs, upselling, and managing courses. This role involves taking orders, communicating with kitchen staff via the POS system, and maintaining knowledge of the menu, promotions, and property information. The server also contributes to the restaurant's cleanliness and appearance through side work, handles payments accurately, and performs opening/closing duties. Additionally, there may be opportunities to assist other casino restaurants with food preparation, handling, stocking, and cashier duties. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods (7+ hours) and adherence to Indiana Gaming and ATC regulations, as well as internal controls and policies. Following the Company Service Standards model is essential. Availability for regular work schedules, including various hours, holidays, and weekends, is required. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours)
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming and ATC (state) regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work
  • Able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends

  • Give receipt to patron
  • Perform opening/closing duties as designated by the manager on duty

  • Stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours)
