This role is responsible for ensuring food quality standards and HACCP plans are followed from delivery through re-therm, preparation, and final meal service. The Server Floater will set up, break down, stock, prep, assemble, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages following recipes and instructions. This position supports meal service operations including breakfast and lunch service, food management, setup, and cleanup. The Server Floater will operate the Point of Sale (POS) system in compliance with school contracts and government regulations, including handling student IDs, payments, and change. Daily activities such as waste, participation data, variances, and completion of daily checklists and logs will be recorded. The role involves communicating menu items, promoting breakfast participation, and gathering customer feedback. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and food-safe environment in compliance with State, Federal, and Revolution Foods standards is crucial. The Server Floater will follow all safety procedures including proper equipment use, storage, hazard prevention, and floor safety. Support for tray racking, staging, and equipment handling is also part of the role, along with following company green waste, compost, and recycling procedures. The Server Floater must be flexible to work across multiple school sites and varying schedules, including early morning and mid-day shifts, and acknowledge that school assignments and schedules may change based on operational needs.
