About The Position
Ledgewood Bay is seeking a Server/Dishwasher for a full-time position, offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Part-time and per diem hours are also available. This role is part of a culinary team focused on providing heartfelt hospitality to residents. The position involves assisting in both the dining room and kitchen, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a positive dining experience. Requirements
- It's cool if you've worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
- Be open to changing roles on the fly.
- Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
- Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
- Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
- If you love making people happy with good food, you've got the right attitude.
- We're all in this together - be ready to lend a hand and work well with your Culinary and Waitstaff team.
- Keeping things tidy is your thing, and you take pride in a job well done.
- Things can get busy, but you stay cool and give your best, no matter what.
- Criminal/background screening is required.
Responsibilities
- Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
- Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
- Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
- Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area spick and span.
- Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
- After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.
- Get hands-on with dishwashing, making sure everything sparkles and shines for the next round of deliciousness.
- Jump in to help clear tables and keep the dining rooms looking great, so every meal feels special for our residents.
- Support the team by serving resident meals as needed.
- Be the hero of hygiene, making sure floors and surfaces are always at their best.
