About The Position
The Landing at Cape Elizabeth is seeking Culinary Associates for both full-time and part-time positions. This role is crucial in ensuring residents enjoy excellent service and delicious meals. You will work closely with the Culinary Director to facilitate the smooth delivery of food from the kitchen to the table. Prior customer service or food service experience is preferred. Our Culinary team focuses on creating memories and building connections, aiming to redefine the culinary experience in Senior Living.
Requirements
- Prior customer service or food service experience preferred.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor to make guests feel welcome.
- Positive attitude, especially during busy periods.
- Patience and understanding when handling resident requests or concerns.
- Ability to notice and address cleanliness needs, maintaining a tidy and safe dining area.
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
- Criminal Background Screening is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a restaurant or with customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure dishes are visually appealing before serving to residents.
- Engage with residents in a friendly manner, present the daily menu, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Clearly communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Reset the Dining Room after each meal, maintaining its appearance.
