Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our beautiful location is just minutes from The Ridgedale Mall, St Louis Park, and near Highways 394 and 494 while close to public transportation. Managed by Ebenezer, we boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room food/meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community, located in Minnetonka, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes; 64 hours per two weeks day/evening shift every other weekend and holiday rotation This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

Responsibilities

Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
