About The Position

The Server is a key member of the restaurant team, primarily responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service to guests. The role supports a convenient dining experience at TravelCenters of America and helps ensure travelers can return to the road better than they came. Team members work in a customer-service-focused environment and may perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Previous food service experience is a plus.
• A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Know menu items and promote daily specials.
• Process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) register.
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining guest needs.
• Maintain equipment according to operating standards.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
