Server Captain
About The Position
Proactive member of the Service team in our high-performance setting. Duties include supervising and coordinating activities of service staff including Bartenders, Servers, Food Runners, and assistants, with a focus on team education. This role involves training, monitoring service levels, and preparing menus. The Server Captain will coordinate staff schedules and conduct daily line-ups. Responsibilities also include placing member orders, serving food and beverages, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cleaning and clearing tables, and stocking the bar as needed. The role assists with measures to improve work processes and requires gaining and using knowledge of vendor products and member demographics/preferences to assist with the wine and cocktail program. Additionally, the Server Captain will assist in beverage and monthly inventories. The position requires modeling superior team and customer service relationships, using strong communication skills, effective floor presence, sales ability, and leading by example. This role involves work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience serving food or beverage at a high-end restaurant, hotel/resort, or private club
- One (1) year of experience in inventory management and member billing
- One (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office
