About The Position

Wintonbury Hills Golf Course is seeking a driven individual to fill the role of Server/Beverage Cart Attendant. This position requires availability from early April to early November, including weekdays and weekends. The role involves working in the pub and as a beverage cart attendant, requiring the ability to perform all three positions: Bartender, Server, and Beverage Cart Attendant. The primary focus is on delivering attentive, professional table service and creating a welcoming dining experience, demanding strong communication, menu knowledge, and efficient table management during busy periods.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant service experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Availability from early April to early November.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with opening and closing side work.
