About The Position

Blue Flame Management is seeking Servers/Bartenders for the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites dual property location in Fort Wayne. This role involves interacting with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, presenting menus, taking orders, preparing drinks according to hotel standards, serving food and beverages, and responding to guest requests. Responsibilities also include checking guest identification for age requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to deal with various types of personalities and situations
• Ability to make fast and sound decisions
• Desire to reach perfection
• Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Available to work weekends if needed

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma
• Valid Food Safety Handler Certificate
• Valid Liquor Permit

Responsibilities

• Interact verbally with all guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
• Present the menus
• Take and relay orders to the service bar and kitchen
• Mix drinks according to hotel standards
• Deliver food and drinks to guests
• Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
• Check guest's identification to make sure they meet age requirements
