About The Position

As one of the world’s largest conservation organizations, the Arbor Day Foundation inspires people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. Through Arbor Day Farm, Lied Lodge, Tree Adventure, and our historic properties, we bring that mission to life — welcoming guests to experience conservation firsthand. Join Arbor Day Farm as a PM Server/Bartender and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation’s mission right here in Nebraska City. You’ll report to our Restaurant Manager. You’ll collaborate with leaders and team members across the property, including Culinary. We believe in servant leadership, open communication, and growing talent from within. Our campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we’re going to do something — it’s worth doing well.

Requirements

• Passion for hospitality, service, and the Foundation’s mission
• Team-first mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Food and beverage experience. Ability to accurately take food and beverage orders, deliver orders in a timely manner, and clear/set tables.
• Commitment to high standards — because good enough is not good enough

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of functions. From clearing and setting tables, serving food, bartending/serving drinks, and helping us maintain cleanliness.
• Be a part of a fast-paced environment. You thrive on the energy you get from serving large groups.
• Represent Lied Lodge. You'll maintain a professional appearance and representation.
• Be reliable. Others will count on you to consistently be on-time and complete tasks ahead of you.

• Deliver service excellence. Every interaction you have with guests will leave a lasting impression.
