About The Position
Pinehurst Country Club is seeking a skilled, personable, and detail-oriented Server/Bartender to provide top-tier service to our members. This position is responsible for greeting customers, recommending menu items, properly serving food and beverages, and delivering a premier country club experience while upholding Pinehurst Country Club's standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Food safety certification required.
- Must be of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
Nice To Haves
- Serve Safe beverage certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be punctual and maintain a neat, clean uniform.
- Follow set-up procedures.
- Possess knowledge of all items on food menus, bar menus, and wine lists.
- Input all orders into the POS system.
- Collect member numbers and process payments.
- Set up and tear down for breakfast, lunch, dinner, club social functions, and private parties.
- Organize and pace meal courses for member dining.
- Clean after all designated meals and parties.
- Possess knowledge of principles, values, and processes for providing exceptional guest service.
- Attend staff meetings, including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required.
- Complete pre-closing requirements.
- Complete other appropriate work assignments as requested by a supervisor.
- Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
