As a Banquet Server, you’ll play a vital role in bringing these experiences to life through polished, attentive, and elevated service that exceeds guest expectations. Your Mission As a Banquet Server, you’ll deliver refined, personalized service throughout every event—ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience. Through professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality, you’ll help create moments that leave a lasting impression.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in fine dining, banquets, hotels, or upscale hospitality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy event environments
  • Maintain composure, professionalism, and grace under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering elevated guest experiences
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain a polished appearance and uphold professional grooming standards
  • Prior banquet, fine dining, hotel, or upscale service experience preferred
  • Must obtain and maintain required food safety and alcohol service certifications
  • Knowledge of wine service, food pairings, and elevated dining standards preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, guiding them through an elevated dining experience from arrival to departure
  • Deliver exceptional banquet service for plated meals, buffets, receptions, and special events with confidence and precision
  • Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and seasonal offerings
  • Provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic pairings
  • Execute elevated service standards including coursed meals, wine service, tableside touches, and proper plate presentation
  • Accurately take, deliver, and serve orders following event timing and service standards
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, banquet, and bar teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Maintain impeccable table presentation through clearing, resetting, and detailed table maintenance
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, polished service throughout the event
  • Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism, urgency, and discretion
  • Follow all banquet policies, service standards, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
