About The Position

The Server Assistant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team at Ramsay's Kitchen in the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. The role supports seamless restaurant service and an elevated guest experience while helping uphold service standards, improve operational flow, and contribute to the dining experience. Responsibilities include setting and resetting tables, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and promptly clearing and cleaning tables throughout service. The Server Assistant also maintains a clean, organized dining environment and works closely with Servers and other team members to meet guest needs efficiently and with genuine hospitality.

The restaurant follows Four Seasons cultural standards and the “Ramsay Standard,” emphasizing professionalism and excellence. The position reports to the Restaurant General Manager and is overseen by the Director of Food & Beverage. This is a part-time position, with hours primarily in the mornings and evenings on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Capability to maintain a high level of physical mobility.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role with a luxury or upscale restaurant; 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for every guest.
• Maintain basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Set up and break down restaurant tables and/or the bar area while maintaining a clean environment.
• Set and reset tables.
• Assist with delivering food and beverages.
• Promptly clear and clean tables throughout service.
• Work with team members to ensure guests are taken care of.
