About The Position
The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the serving staff in a restaurant environment. This role involves ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests, particularly in a busy, fast-paced, and energetic setting. The Server Assistant will also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and cleaning chemicals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a food expeditor or other restaurant position.
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant.
- Dependable transportation.
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours.
- Must have good sense of balance.
- Must be able to bend, kneel.
- Background check required.
- United States authorization to work.
Responsibilities
- Support serving staff during dining hours.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and energetic work environment.
- Handle exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Work with cleaning chemicals and solutions daily.
- Maneuver trays weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Lift furniture and banquet equipment.
