About The Position
The Server Assistant supports the dining service team and helps provide guests with attentive, smooth, and memorable hospitality. The role involves preparing and clearing tables, assisting with beverage service, responding to guest needs, coordinating with restaurant staff, and maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards in the dining area.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Back Server, Busser, or Food Runner.
Responsibilities
- Set up and clear tables by arranging utensils, plates, and glassware and promptly removing used items to keep the dining area clean and organized.
- Assist servers with delivering beverages and refilling drinks as needed.
- Help guests by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and supporting their comfort throughout the dining experience.
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces and following food-safety protocols.
