About The Position
The Server Assistant supports the dining service team by helping maintain smooth restaurant operations and delivering attentive hospitality. The role includes setting up and clearing tables, assisting with beverage service, responding to guest needs, coordinating with restaurant staff, and keeping dining areas clean and sanitary. Pay is $21 per hour, inclusive of tips.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Back Server, Busser, or Food Runner.
Responsibilities
- Set up and clear tables by arranging utensils, plates, and glassware and promptly removing used items.
- Assist servers with delivering beverages and refilling drinks.
- Answer guest questions, accommodate special requests, and help ensure guest comfort.
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to support efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces and following food safety protocols.
