As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Overview: A Server Assistant (Busser/Food Runner) supports the service team by ensuring guests receive prompt, attentive, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
Refill water, bread, and other complimentary items.
Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate needs to servers or managers.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Set and reset tables according to club or restaurant standards.
Clear and clean tables efficiently between courses and after guests depart.
Polish silverware, glassware, and service equipment.
Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout service.
Deliver food accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests.
Verify plate presentation and ensure correct orders are served.
Communicate with kitchen staff regarding special requests and dietary restrictions.
Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
Stock service stations with necessary supplies.
Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated cleaning areas.
Support banquet and special event setups as required.
Work closely with servers, bartenders, and culinary staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards.
Maintain knowledge of club policies and service procedures.
Assist in training new team members when requested.
