About The Position

The Server Assistant supports the restaurant service team by helping maintain smooth operations and providing attentive hospitality. The role includes preparing and clearing tables, delivering and refilling beverages, assisting guests with questions and requests, coordinating with restaurant staff, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area. The starting pay rate is $17.40 per hour; individual pay decisions may consider experience and education.

Requirements

• Obtain a current Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire.
• Obtain an RBS Alcohol Training Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Back Server.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, including arranging utensils, plates, and glassware and promptly removing used items.
• Deliver beverages to tables and refill drinks as needed.
• Assist guests by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and supporting their comfort during dining.
• Coordinate with servers and restaurant staff, communicate guest requests or feedback, and help meet service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces and following food safety protocols.
