About The Position

The rooftop bar at Halcyon. Friendly. Easy-going. Confident. Rare Bird celebrates the spirit of Denver's unabashed personalities. The Server Assistant will be preparing and refilling beverages, assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurants.

Requirements

Professional, personable and courteous demeanor
Excellent attention to detail and sense of organization
Guest-first mentality
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly pivot between requests
Required to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objects
Able to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined

Responsibilities

Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, etc.
Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
Assist server with table service, including running food, serving beverages, etc.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient and friendly manner
Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
Additional duties and assignments as assigned
