About The Position

This role is about having a strong desire to help people and create memorable interactions with guests and co-workers. You will be a valued member of the Food & Beverage team responsible for serving F&B items for the Hockey House and EIGHTYEIGHT Bar & Grill. You are willing to learn and grow in your new role by supporting the event operations teams when required. As a Server and Bartender, you strive to approach your work to align with WinSport's 6 values: Safety, Integrity, Belonging, Collaboration, Inspiration, and Sustainability.

Requirements

• ProServe certification.
• Previous experience in a related customer service role.
• Strong verbal communication skills when dealing with guests and staff.
• Display professionalism at all times.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling experience is an asset.
• Possess a valid Alberta Class 5 Driver License (asset).

Responsibilities

• Ensure opening and closing duties are completed to standard for all designated areas.
• Provide prompt and efficient service to guests.
• Maintain bar and floor areas to the standard required for presentation and cleanliness.
• Administer the beverage bar service according to AGLC laws relative to Canada Olympic Park's operating policies and procedures.
• Ensure opening inventory is correct; add any transfers and ensure closing inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
• Ensure all cash and credit card charges are processed and settled accurately.
• Perform housekeeping tasks appropriate to the outlets and report any property damage or unsafe working conditions.
• Maintain supplies and equipment within the departments.
