About The Position

As a Seasonal Part-Time Server 2, you will play an experienced service role in the execution of weddings, social events, corporate events, and other catered experiences. In addition to providing elevated food and beverage service, you will demonstrate a consistently high level of hospitality in every guest interaction and work closely with the Event Lead to support service flow, anticipate guest needs, reinforce standards, and provide peer guidance and new-hire support when assigned. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of related experience, strong event awareness, and the confidence to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in catering, banquet service, hospitality, restaurants, or a similar service environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules is required, a minimum of six shifts per month, including Saturdays.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, organization, and strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate guest and event needs, identify basic service or operational issues, and take appropriate action or escalate when needed.
  • Ability to lead by example and provide peer support, routine guidance, and new-hire training under the direction of the Event Lead or Service Management Team.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Food Handler's Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire; in-house allergen certification is also required within 30 days.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to events mainly within Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules, including Saturdays; minimum of 6 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

  • Execute event service based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including service flow, timing, menu details, and event-specific requirements.
  • Demonstrate a consistently high level of hospitality through warm, attentive, and professional service in every client and guest interaction.
  • Anticipate client and guest needs and help maintain a seamless, elevated service experience.
  • Support event set-up, food and beverage service, replenishment, breakdown, cleanup, and event logistics.
  • Assist and coach Service team members and support new-hire training under the direction of event leadership.
  • Provide peer guidance and task-level support when assigned as a Lead Assistant.
  • Depending on qualifications and assignment, additional opportunities may include Bartender and Driver responsibilities.
