About The Position
TransPerfect is seeking a strategic, data-driven SEO Specialist to join their digital department. This freelance role will support global brands in expanding into the South African market by improving their performance across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms. The specialist will work on a range of SEO and digital visibility projects.
Requirements
- Native or full working level of English and Chinese
- Strong technical and onpage SEO knowledge
- Experience with international SEO and localisation
- Familiarity with AI search, LLMs, and prompt engineering
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar
Responsibilities
- Conduct Technical SEO Audits
- Perform LLM Visibility Audits
- Review Core Web Vitals, Hreflang & Canonical
- Develop Content Strategy & Optimisation
- Provide Technical SEO Consulting
- Engage in AI Prompt Development
- Execute Website Crawls & SEO Analysis
- Conduct Keyword research and optimisation
