As a Senior Manager of SEO, you will bring a combination of senior talent and experience to key client engagements while also playing a critical role in the development and growth of your team. You will be the senior SEO subject matter expert and first point of escalation for your team, responsible for leading both the implementation of your clients' SEO programs and the development of your team's skills and abilities. In this hands-on role, you will act as a trusted advisor for both your clients and colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of both. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Additionally, you must be passionate about learning, guiding, and growing your clients' businesses and your team's understanding of SEO. To be successful in this role and grow within the company, you will need to develop a strong operational mind, a sense of business intelligence, and the skills necessary to lead a department effectively.

3+ years of SEO experience, including exposure to content strategy, web development, and off-site platforms like YouTube.
The ability to persuade others through logical and compelling arguments, backed by real data and illustrative examples to highlight impact and potential costs/threats.
Possess a strong sense of self-governance and self-organization, but have the courage to ask for help and admit when help is needed.
Excellent communication skills through writing, speaking, and visual presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Advanced experience with various SEO tools such as, Screaming Frog and Semrush.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Experience using web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and data visualization platforms like Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic vision, roadmap, and measurement plan for every client engagement to solve their challenges.
Develop forecasts for SEO programs for current and prospective Acadia clients.
Build and maintain key relationships with assigned accounts, both within the agency and the client, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Lead the coordination of client workstreams and internal initiatives, using project management tools for efficient management.
Promote SEO successes to stakeholders and advocate the importance and impact of recommendations on the channel and client business.
Orchestrate in-person and virtual client visits and trainings, anticipating questions and providing materials for authentic delivery.
Oversee consistent application of standards and contribute to their development on new deliverables.
Directly manage team members, setting expectations and reviewing their performance.
Serve as the exemplar of servant leadership, ensuring the team has the necessary skills, training, and resources.
Collaborate within the department and other practices to develop new products and innovate existing ones.
Act as a roaming expert, expanding relationships with other departments and authoring thought leadership pieces.
Foster proactive collaborations between SEO and other Business Units, helping keep Acadia “sticky” for clients.
Develop and present internal and external training sessions, including educational sessions for clients and other disciplines at the agency.
Participate signifcantly in sales pitches.
Scope projects, create and develop statements of work and addendums for SEO services.
Assist with the oversight and management of the SEO P&L with respect to activities including tracking and realizing revenue, managing expenses, and forecasting future performance.
