About The Position

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Workforce Intelligence Analyst to own the last mile of their data platform by building an AI-powered self-service analytics suite for the People team. This role will drive adoption through a hybrid strategy, enabling the People team to use a governed self-service suite with pre-packaged HR dashboards and insights built in Visier, as well as empowering them to build their own content and analyses using Claude, connected to the same modeled data powering Visier. As a Senior Individual Contributor, you will own the Visier platform, set the self-serve analytics roadmap, and have significant autonomy in its development. You will collaborate directly with various People team functions (Talent Acquisition, Employee Success Partners, Total Rewards, People Operations, and People Science) to understand their objectives and develop the necessary metrics, context, and AI-ready documentation to enable them to find answers independently.

Requirements

4+ years in people analytics, HR technology, or a closely related role.
Hands-on Visier experience, including at least one implementation or significant capability expansion.
Strong SQL skills and experience working directly in a cloud data warehouse.
Fluency in the HR domain, with a deep understanding of recruiting, compensation, performance, and organizational structure, including how data is recorded in underlying systems.
Demonstrated experience enabling others through training, documentation, or converting reporting backlogs to self-service.
A pragmatic approach to data governance, balancing standardized dashboards with enabling exploration.
Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent workstreams, and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Nice To Haves

Analytics Engineering capability, including experience with dbt, version control, CI/CD, and dimensional modeling.
Understanding of how to expose warehouse data to LLMs or agentic interfaces (semantic layers, MCP).
Experience with specific stack components: Rippling, Workday, Ashby, Lattice, TeamOhana, BigQuery.
Experience with other BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma) alongside Visier.
Experience in high-growth or infrastructure environments with constant change.

Responsibilities

Own the Visier Platform: Serve as the technical and functional owner, managing configuration, metric definitions, security models, release management, and the primary vendor relationship.
Build and extend Visier content (metrics, boards, alerts) and incorporate new data subjects as systems are onboarded.
Manage the integration between the data platform and Visier, collaborating with Data Engineering on upstream models.
Own data quality: define checks, triage failures, and drive fixes to the source system.
Drive AI & Self-Service Analytics: Ensure consistency between AI-assisted answers and Visier dashboards. Critically evaluate AI outputs and identify missing context.
Document data models, business logic, and known caveats, treating context as a core deliverable for both non-analysts and AI tools.
Design access and aggregation rules for sensitive people data, including compensation and performance.
Partner & Enable the People Team: Act as an embedded partner to TA, Total Rewards, People Ops, and Business Partners, conducting discovery, synthesizing findings, and communicating insights to executives.
Transition the function from ad hoc data pulls to a durable reporting cadence focused on organizational health and talent delivery insights.
Build and run enablement programs (training, office hours, documentation) to enhance the data literacy of the HR function.
Help build and deliver the self-service analytics roadmap, translating business questions into deliverables and identifying when process or system fixes are needed instead of dashboards.
Bring a strategic perspective, connecting business objectives with data insights.
