About The Position

Navan is seeking a proactive Senior Workday Analyst to join our People Operations Team. This role involves architecting and scaling our global infrastructure to support rapid expansion and a world-class employee experience. The analyst will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, manage data migrations, optimize the Workday ecosystem, contribute to strategic roadmapping, build advanced analytics, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide training and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HRIS experience, with at least 3+ years of deep, hands-on Workday HCM configuration.
• Proven track record of configuring Absence Management in a global environment, understanding statutory requirements and entitlement rules.
• Advanced skills in building and executing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data loads and system integrations.
• High-level domain knowledge of EMEA labor laws, statutory absence types, and payroll integration touchpoints.
• Mastery of Reporting, Security, and Calculated Fields to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to pivot quickly in a high-growth, fast-paced tech environment.
• The ability to explain technical 'Workday-speak' to non-technical stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, with a primary focus on Absence Management and Global Time Tracking.
• Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for Workday EIBs, managing high-volume data uploads, mass updates, and complex data transformations.
• Support and enhance the broader Workday ecosystem, including Talent, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Core HCM.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, prioritizing the People Systems roadmap for global impact.
• Build and maintain complex Calculated Fields, Matrix Reports, and Dashboards to provide the leadership team with real-time, actionable data insights.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex system issues, ensuring seamless performance and data flow across all integrations.
• Develop 'best-in-class' documentation and conduct global training sessions to promote best practices across the People Operations team.
