About The Position

The Senior Wireless Engineer is responsible for the design, assessment, optimization, and migration of large‑scale enterprise wireless networks, with a specific focus on RF design for complex healthcare environments (e.g., hospitals). This role will lead end‑to‑end wireless RF design projects, including surveys, modeling, validation, and AP migration activities across multiple locations, ensuring reliable, secure, and high‑performing Wi‑Fi coverage that meets clinical and operational requirements. As an Engineer Sr, you will lead end-to-end RF design and optimization for enterprise Wi‑Fi in complex healthcare environments, ensuring coverage, capacity, and performance meet clinical and operational needs. The role conducts onsite surveys, builds and tunes RF models, and produces design artifacts to guide implementation. It also supports AP migrations by coordinating stakeholders, validating floor plans and configurations, and recommending changes that improve reliability and reduce interference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Wi‑Fi networks.
  • Proven experience with large‑scale RF design projects involving high AP counts and multi‑site deployments (e.g., hospitals or other complex facilities).
  • Strong proficiency with wireless survey and design tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet, Cisco DNA Center, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and validate RF design requirements by reviewing sites, floor plans, network documentation, and device/use-case coverage needs.
  • Perform onsite wireless RF surveys and analysis to assess coverage, capacity, interference, and overall RF health.
  • Create and optimize predictive/hybrid RF models and AP placement designs (power, channels, RF profiles), producing heatmaps and implementation guidance.
  • Coordinate and support AP migration activities by validating designs and DNAC floor plans, managing risks/issues, and recommending tuning/changes to improve performance.

Benefits

  • Full benefits
  • Freedom to work from another location—even an international destination—for up to 30 consecutive calendar days per year.
  • Access to 11 thriving and diverse Teammate Resource Groups
