About The Position

Join IPT Associates’ established Windows team in a mixed and growing Windows Server environment. The position manages, maintains, deploys, troubleshoots, and supports servers for several customers. Requirements

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• A computing environment certification (such as MCSE, Server+, CCNA, Red Hat, or Palo Alto), or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of starting.
• Experience in computer science or IT.
• Active security clearance.
• At least 5 years as a Windows systems administrator or engineer, including at least 3 years automating tasks with PowerShell.
• At least 5 years installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites, such as IIS and Apache.
• At least 5 years in complex networking environments, with senior-level knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP.
• At least 5 years managing enterprise Active Directory.
• At least 5 years creating and maintaining complex Microsoft Group Policy setups.
• At least 5 years creating and following SOPs for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and problem resolution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years supporting cybersecurity patch management, STIGs, SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new system hardware and software.
• Write and maintain technical instructions, operating procedures, and policies.
• Monitor and tune performance, harden servers, and report on security and operational status.
• Recommend enterprise improvements, manage integrations, and write utilization reports.
• Support the lifecycle of datacenter equipment, including firmware version control and preventive maintenance.
• Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for several customers.
